RCA MP3 player, Opal, M4008. I just formatted it and need to download per previous e-mail in 2008. It referred me to rcaaudiovideo.ccom/downloads/opal_fwutility_v2.3.0.exe. I did this last year but I'm unable to locate that site. Was processing building data bases then just shuts off when I had the trouble before.

plug in your mp3 player, go to "my computer" then click on the opal icon thingy, after that there will be an icon that will say internal storage right click on that and click format. it should format!
In Windows XP, rt click my computer. Scroll down to manage and click. Find disk management on the left and click. Your player should show up as a disk drive and you should be able to formt it here.
