No picture, no sound and all the fuses are ok, means there are no shorted components in the circuit, more than likely the tv is not generating horizontal drive to produce and feed hv to the crt and no b+ for the audio circuit. The tv is big enough to keep and repair if you are cosidering a repair estimated around 400dlls. I think the problem would be located in the deflection board.

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

Not able to turn on the TV after hearing some clicking sound. please assist on what should I do, how to repair. many thank

See if you can find a fuse on the back near the power cable where it connects to the TV. It sounds like the fuse might have "popped". If it is good, see if the TV is showing a blinking light (probably on the power button) which will indicate an error code. Finally, unplug the TV from everything (cable, power, DVD, etc..) and wait for 15 minutes to see if it will reset incase a thermal issue is occuring. Also check your AC outlet by plugging something that you know works into it to see if the power is dead at the outlet. Plug TV back in and see if powers up with nothing connected to it. Lastly, check your manual to see if there is a base-reset button on the back somewhere to reset it back to factory default settings incase something has locked up your initiation processes.

Hope that helps some!

Power light comes on but nothing happens

What type of laptop? What operating system?

Laptops don't boot for the following reasons: 1) Bad Power Cord. 2) Bad DC Power Jack where the power cord plugs into the laptop. 3) Static Charge Buildup. 4) Bad Motherboard.

The above 4 reasons are when you press the power button and absolutely nothing happens. You hear no fans running, no disk drive running, no one time clicking sound on the CD Drive and No light for a second or two when the CD drives click. In the case of a motherboard issue sometimes you will hear beep sounds or see blinking lights. Those beep sounds and blinking lights tells the technician what is going on with your motherboard and why it will not boot. If you see the blinking lights or hear beeps count them.

So you have a power light which means your power cord and dc power jack is good. So lets see if you have a static charge buildup.

Remove the Power Cord and the Battery from the laptop, then Press and Hold the Power Button for 30 seconds. After 30 seconds put the power cord back into the laptop, but leave the battery out. Press the power button to see if it boots. If it does you had a Static Charge Buildup and it's ok to put your battery back in. If it does not you more than likely have an issue with your motherboard.

Not power not picture or sound

If its Dead Dead ,that mean no power is getting past the fuse :> then it needs a fuse
.30 vs 300.00-400.00

Ok there is a way of telling if its posibley
just a fuse . First no blinking lights ,good
no clicking sound from the set when you
try to turn it on .good

now unplug the set for about 30min
the plug it back in slowley if you
see and or hear sparks coming from
the plug , this is normal but bad news
for it being just a fuse , if you dont
see or hear a spark its likley just a
5-8 amp fuse blew inside the set. :>

Hope this was helpful
