Sd Error Suds Detected (Stored Error Code F71)
Did you use regular detergent?
Regular or hand-washing detergents are not recommended for this washer. Use only High Efficiency ("HE") detergent.
Did you add too much detergent?
Always measure detergent. Follow detergent manufacturer's directions. If excessive suds are detected, the washer will display this code while running a suds reduction correction routine at the end of the wash cycle. The suds reduction routine removes extra suds and assures proper rinsing of your garments. If the code remains and the wash cycle dial is ?ashing after the recovery routine has stopped, re-select your desired cycle using cold water. Press START. Do not add detergent.

I am having the same problem - and advice
Exact same symptoms. 1 week after warrenty expired.
My washer started sounding a beep-beep every 10 seconds, in the middle of the night when it was not washing. We can' t get it to wash in any mode except to "wash the washer" mode. The Soil Level lights toggle constantly when you turn it on.
Mine just started beeping today. The dryer did it before warranty expired and the board was replaced. About a month after warranty went out it started again. Now the washer has started doing it. This isn't uncommon. Sears should do something about it.
My washer beeps about 16 times and the light alternates between loud and soft. Then, it stops for about the same length of time before it repeats this cycle. This continues the entire time the washer is powered on while washing or not. Also, at times, the add a Garment light is on while the lid lock light is on.
Is this my control board?
I came home after a wash had finished, and the center column was still operating. I removed the clothes, even though the machine kept operating, despite the fact the lid was no longer locked, so I let it continue, thinking it would run through to the end of the cycle. However, it hasn't stopped since. I tried unplugging the machine for periods of time, and that didn't work, either.
by the end of a cycle the clothes are tangled together and I wonder if it is possible there is a garment stuck in the machine somewhere
