Do you have any big speakers or some other appliance near the TV?
Magnetic fields make the screen images 'shake'.
Was your problem solved? Do you have more information or questions?
Please let us know so we can help you better. Better yet, give the solution a rating! :D
Thanks!
Ok, this could be (since I worked in a TV Engineering department once); that YOUR TV was supposed to be shipped elsewhere (South America, Canada, anywhere else); it works like this:
The earth has electromagnetic fields which change depending on your coordinates, and there are QA tests that resonate and tune the TV to perform at certain frequencies depending on what part of the earth it is, if you live in the USA and take your TV to South Mexico or Columbia, you'll get that intermittent view or even a fuzzy screen.
The majority of TVs are made in Tijuana, Mexico (Sony, Phillips, LG, Sharp, name it); and shipped all over the world.
"Funny" I used to say, "a TV is a TV, it should work ANYWHERE!" It does, but it will not display the same everywhere.
It happens, you should take your TV to your vendor and have it changed for another one (preferably from another shipment lot). You might not be the only one with that problem with that same TV model.
Hopefully that will do the trick, a TV for your geographic region.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, I don’t have any other appliances or big speakers near the TV. The problem is intermittent and is driving me crazy. It happened again on Sunday when I turned the TV on. I unplugged the TV and let it cool down for about a half hour. Plugged it back in and it was having the same problem. I turned it back off for a few hours and turned it back on and everything was fine. I am at a loss.
Thanks for the input! I will give it a try. Have a good one and I'll post again if it works.
