I installed S3000 software for Windows XP on my Windows Vista. Now it won't run. I downloaded the driver fix for Vista but something is blocking the program from running - it says: Windows 4.1 has stopped working. Can't get past it. Need to get these pics of my camera and emailed out for a job bid! Finepix shows all of my pics just fine, it just won't upload off my camera. Please help!

Access the manufacturer's web-site: http://support.hp.com
Enter the model-number of the printer, and do the search.
Select Downloadable Device-Drivers.
Select Windows 7.
Download the device-driver.
Install it.

According to me, you are using windows xp as there won't be any problem with windows vista.

The sound card you are using is high definition audio.so you need to download Microsoft UAA Bus Controller Software.Install this first and installed the driver for windows xp.

Did you do a upgrade to vista from xp? Or is the computer with vista a different computer? The reason why I ask is if you did an upgrade the old drivers and software for xp may still be in the system. The first thing I would do is go into the device manager and remove the printer and un-install any software for the printer. Re-boot the computer and windows vista should detect the new hardware. I would let vista check online for the driver and install it. If it cant't find one the choose the driver you downloaded online. After that then try installing the printer software. Also make sure that when you go to print something that your printer is set up as the default printer.

You may go to the Fujifilm support site where you could download the appropriate programe or softerware compatible with Vista.

Try this link. It is the full intall file for the all in one being run on a Vista Machine. It worked fine for my installation.

Muck around on the site for a bit, and you can also find the same install file for Windows XP.

Upgrading from Windows XP to Windows Vista :
Before upgrading your OS from Windows XP to Windows Vista, delete / uninstall all the Windows XP software first; then, upgrade the OS to Windows Vista and install Vista software.

Delete / uninstall Windows XP software before installing Windows Vista software.

No vista drivers will not be supported. Recently i did the same thing and ran into troube getting back to vista. Your best bet is to download software updates that are compatible with vista, most things are now. Or if you want to install something if you right click the intall file first and got to properties, then compatibility and change it ro run in xp sp2, apply, ok. see if this helps

Unfortunately there is no fix for users of version 3 who have upgraded to vista.
The version 4 of Artista software does work in Vista. I have tested this and it appears to me to be related to the software "dongle" protections.
