Gasket for Cleanout at bottom of Malber WD1000

My washer dryer was leaking badly at the bottom. The repairwoman diagnosed the problem as a damaged gasket  on the cleanout at the front bottom of the machine. She ordered a replacement gasket from Malber back in October 2007. It is now Dec. 9, 2007. The gasket has not yet come despite her repeated calls to Malber. She says that the gasket cannot simply be obtained in a hardware store.
Is there some way to get this gasket? Or is there some other way to seal the cleanout?
The water damage from this second floor leakage was extensive. The cleanout seems to me to be poorly designed and invites problems.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Malber 1000 started leaking from the bottom. Water is coming from underneath the machine in the area behind the filter area

Usually what I have found is a small hole in the drain hose or coin trap, sometimes mice chew them and sometimes It is an abrasion wear from the balance brick rubbing. pretty easy fix though.

Leaking

Hi. Mike here. Two "most likely" causes. (1) You simply have a leak at the lower right "cleanout trap". Remove the little white plastic "pull-out" assy. Check the black seal that looks like a little "tire". Is anything caught in it, or wrapped around it, or has it become deformed? Also, check that white plastic (2") washer, in front of it, is not warped (due to overtightening). Unscrew the "knob" (handle) part, all the way out, and separate all 4 parts. Clean knob, washer, tire (seal), and trap assy. Slip washer, then tire, onto knob's threaded "shaft". Flat side of washer goes against knob. Screw knob, washer and tire into trap assy, but only one or two turns. Then, slip entire assy back into machine's recess - and turn Clockwise to tighten. Only tighten hand tight (and I don't mean Macho tight!)
(2) If that doesn't fix, you may very well be using WAY too much detergent. These machines use only 2 or 3 (Max!) Tablespoons of HE liquid detergent. I've seen cases where folks were using 1/2 cup of liquid (or powder) and even more. That causes so much foaming that there have been overflows, from the lower right corner, even though nothing was wrong with the machine. To remedy, run a load empty, with NO detergent.
Good luck, and God bless.

Two of the dials are dryer settings. There is only one washer dial, which basically controls the length of the wash and rinses, etc.
