Question about Lands Phones
Each of the six phones must have line 1 connected to the same "subscriber loop" (the same phone number). Assuming this is the case, and that you have not assigned any numbers to the the top six speed-dial buttons, each station will have agreed to be assigned a station number.
From any station, pressing the speed-dial button for another station's station number will page that station.
Now, how to properly initiate an intercom conversation differs between announcing to another station that a call is on hold, or a "cold call".

This is a programming issue with the phone .There should be a pull card located in the base of the phone that will give you instructions on how to program the phone.

This is not a common problem.
Take that phone to a processor and plug it into extension. If no longer seing a problem look into wiring. If problem still there, try a different phone. If different phone works fine you have a bad phone. If problem still shows you have a bad port on a processor. Try available different port. You should really contact your Avaya vendor to fix this.
