I'm trying to "cut the cord" and use digital air TV. The problem is it buffers and stutters so badly I can't watch it. What can I do?

Get the correct antenna on your chimney. You need the right band antenna for your region. If your shonky antenna picks up something then you know a decent antenna high up will work fine. The attic is a better location but it has to get through the roof tiles and that maybe too much.

If you live far from any digital broadcasting stations, you may not be able to pick up signals using an antenna. In my area, it is impossible to receive digital signals from transmitters located just across the river!

What do I need to correctly connect/setup my VEON 39" SR09110-B. I have plugged the power cord in and the antenna cord into the rv port on the back of the TV but the TV has no signal. Do I need to do

Your unit may need to know that it must read the antenna signals that are coming from the antenna. The unit might have a set-up feature in the TV's settings function for choosing either a cable (digital) or antenna (analog) signal.

Correct cords

Does your TV have connections (RCA plugs) on the back somewhere? If not, you need an antenna connection from the screw-on connection on the back of the VHS unit to an adapter to your VHF antenna screws on the TV unless your TV is new enough to have a screw-on type cable for the antenna connection. The tape player will broadcast a signal right into your TV over channel 3or 4! Check a TV sales department or Radio Shack for the parts.

My cord on my rca tv pronge broke off can i fix it

Would not be difficult I assume you mean antenna plug? Radio Shack would have the fitting but you would likely have to pull the back cover off to cut and replace would need soldering.

Im not getting any signal weak or strong! What am I doing wrong?

What's your source for signal? You need an antenna to be the capture source for your signal that has a wire going from the antenna to the INPUT of the box. That's usually coaxial input. The box is the middle component between your TV and antenna.

Vcr won't record tv

You have to plug the antenna to the VCR, in the "Antenna IN" plug, from there it goes to the "TV OUT".

You use the VCR to tune the TV and choose record according to your VCR model.
Hope That Helps!
