Question about Jensen VM9020TS Car DVD Player

No sound jensen #vm9312 car dvd player. maybe wrong mistake which bottom to mute it. made all like radio cd &dvd not sound output. i done try setup section & press mute bottom by it front panel still not release back mute. screen still showing speaker picture with" X" . anyone could solve my problem thanks!

My jensen vm9312 at times will not at times take "accept" any DVD's or CD'S. When the unit does accept a disc,it does not recgonize that there is a disc inside.The option screen doesn't show the DVD...

Did you try a disk cleaner ? for the system and theres one for disks to.

Everything works except the radio. It appears

If have factory amp you have to find the turn ou wre for the amp and hook it up to the amp turn on wire from the radio(bootleg way sound might cut in & out) or go to local sound shop and get a bypass for the amp

Sound to radio but no sound to cds or dvds

I dont know what car you've got but,You need to hook up the blue amp remote wire for the antenna, when you switch to radio the antenna signal turns your car amplifier on and you get audio and when you switch to cd/dvd it switches it off because your car is wired that way, its a common issue with Mercedes etc.

Subwoofer not working

Try front or rear output and see if you're getting sound, if not the external output chip is fried, common issue with these.

try cleaning the laser with a CD player cleaning kit....keep in mind Jensen is low-end equipment at best.

Just installed vm9312

go to the radio press setup on your remote then press 543210, a secret screen will pop up press the hammer and skrewdriver,u will see brake overide put it on the on position,thenpress the X at the bottom of the screen,then your all set.
