Most DVD played do NOT allow you to change the region, but look up the model number and "change region" and if it can be done it will come up, But frankly I don't think it will, to play muli region discs you have to get a multi region player.

Pity the shop we bought it from didn't tell us that when I phoned them yesterday instead of shrouding the whole thing in mystery and wasting my money. Why isn't the Samsung machine we've got a multi-sone player in the first place? We paid enough money for it, and in this day and age when people have the capablility of purchasing goods, including DVDs, from all over the world you'd think they'd have realised this. Not impressed.
