Cycles take an exceedingly long time to complete

I have a Bosch Nexxt 100 series washer, and the wash cycles are taking anywhere from 90 minutes to 2 hours to complete, which is ridiculous. This happens regardless of how much laundry is in the washer but the loads do take a lot longer if there are towels in it. Is there anything we can do to reset the timing or something so that the cycles don't take so long to complete?

No, the problem is the the valve that stops water from draining is not working. or not shuting off all the way, water will try to fill but never does or does and leaks back out and try again. replace valve/pump, if you take it apart u will find your paperclip u left in u pocket

WHY DOES MY WATER PUMP, ON MY BOSCH NEXXT 100 SERIES, RUN LITERALLY ALL THE TIME DURING SPIN. THE PUMP REMOVES WATER AS IT SHOULD, BUT JUST KEEPS CAVITATING AS IT KEEPS RUNNING. I CAN TELL IT KEEPS...

Hello,

Welcome to FixYa.

Completely normal. The pump will indeed run through the entirety of the spin cycle, it is by design.

As the items spin, more and more water is extracted and if the pump should fail to operate during this time it would cause increased vibration and inadequate extraction to achieve it's superior spin cycles.

Hope that helps quell your concern. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Bosch Nexxt 100 series front load washer

You first of all need to check the pump filter.
This should be located at the botom front right of washer.
Look for a drop down flap or cover, once located, unscrew filter anti-clockwise to remove and clean.

The pump itself is directly behind the filter housing, check there is nothing stuck in the housing.
This should solve the prob.
Please leave feedback for my solution.
Thankyou.

Bosch Nexxt 300 washer takes hours to do a single load

We had similliar problem. We were overloading the wash barrel and using too much soap. The soap was foaming causeing the washer to add rinse cycles hinse more time to the cycle. Make sure your soap has the HE ( high efficiency ) label on it. Hope this helps.
