Hourglass frozen on screen!!

My boyfriend gave me his digital mp4 player to put some stuff on there for him, I managed to put some songs on there ok but now there is an hourglass/egg timer that is froze on the screen!! I've tried switching it on and off but the hourglass is still there and I cant do anything at all, its just froze. please help! When I was charging my MP4 the hour glass was showing. I left it overnight and when I removed the charge, the screen came black when I switched it off, and I am getting the hour glass when switching it on. The screen is frozen. Grateful if you can advise how I can solve this.

The Hour glass is stuck on the screen, I can't see a rest button, what can I do?

i have a mp3 creative zen 8 gb when turned on it goes to the main screen that says creative then freezes there

Try and plug it in your computer once again and see if the hour glass budges. Then safely remove it by clicking the "Safely Remove Device" Icon on your PC tray (where the clock is on a PC)...

If not, theres probably a software reset hole at the back or sides of your mp4 player, try pushing it with a toothpick or similar pointed thing.

If all else fails, have it replaced...

make sure that the song location is perfect..before copying it in to your MP4, Just play it in your computer and when it plays only copy to the player..ok though it is asking about extension...just format it once and copy the songs..it will work on...ok

Frozen hourglass symbol on mp4 screen

If you are using Mac, you must use USB to connect to connect to itunes. If you are using Windows you MUST use Firewire. I don't know why this is but each system won't recognize the other's connection medium. Make sure you are using the correct cable. If my wire connection doesn't work then it is reversed. Try it the other way around. The only other thing I could think of is that you are trying to upload an MP4 that the system doesn't recognize. try a format converter if this is the problem, they can either be demoed or bought four 20 bucks or so.

Try resetting the player. There should either be a button for that (possibly on the back) or holding certain buttons together may prompt it. Check your player's user guide as it will certainly say how to restart it. If you can't find out how to restart it, try disconnecting the battery.

I HAVE 3 delstar mp4 player and it worked fine for a few months. I plugged it in to charge, took it off the charger and now it is frozen on a blue screen with an hourglass design.
