I just replaced the lamp on my samsung HL-P5063W (DLP TV)...now the TV will not turn on (no picture...but I do get sound)...when I plug it in, it automatically starts to power on...then it starts making this humming sound (like it's about to take off and fly)...the "lamp" message continues flashing for about 15 seconds...then it goes into "stand by" mode for a second...and starts the same cycle again...the only way I get it to stop is to unplug it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a bad color wheel. Generally when the color wheel goes bad, when you try and turn the TV on the lamp will ignite for a couple seconds and then turn off. It also makes a rather high pitch squealing noise.

Listen closely. The tv should make a high pitch whine as it turns on. If it does wait and see if it tries this a few times. If yes then check the bulb, I have seen cases where the lamp shoves the power connector back into the set. If the tv starts with a grown or heavy vibration noise, then your color wheel may have broken and needs replaced.
Try replacing the ballast next. Its the small circuit board directly underneath the lamp housing. You can access it through the lamp door. If the ballast is overheating or has a leaking capacitor, the tv won't stay lit for more than a minute or two.
