I have forget my memory card password which use in nokia 2690

Hi,

If you lose or forget the password for your phone's memory card, there is no way to recover the password or access the data, even by taking your phone to a Nokia Care Point.

However, you may still be able to use the memory card if you can successfully format it. Formatting the card will not work in every case.

Formatting will erase all the data on the card.

To format you memory card:

1) Select Menu>Memory. Your phone shows the details of the memory card.

2) Select Options>Format memory card.

Thanking you

Memory Capacity: Up to 32 GB (Gigabytes)
Type: The Nintendo DSi and Nintendo DSi XL support standard SD cards as well as high-capacity SD cards (SDHC) up to 32 GB in size. This includes miniSD and microSD when used with their respective adapters
Speed: SD Cards with a slow speed may experience slow transfer time when loading files, or may not work at all. Slow transfer times can also occur with SD Cards that have a great number of files on them.

DSI not recognising SD card

Can you use that SD card for your photo digital camera or any other device such as card reader ,so you can check quality of that SD card?

Also check brand of that card. In many cases consoles such as playstations, nintendos , have their own brand memory cards, so if your card works on other devices but not on your DSI , you probably need to use their brand.

For downloading dsi games do I need to get an SD memory card? Is this where the downloaded games are stored? Just bought this so need help! thanks

The DSi only has 256 MB of internal flash memory. If you intend on downloading many games from the online store, you will need an SD card. They can be purchased used from Amazon.com for a low price, though.
