The problem is probably the defrost heater . This model is at least 12 yrs. in age . Pt # WR51X442 is the part number for the heater and harness kit . These parts are located behind the inside rear lower freezer panel . First , make sure the freezer fan is working . If not Pt # WR60X10008 is the freezer fan motor .

Fridge gets cold air from freezer to cool it. Your freezer is fine but not enough cold air is getting into fridge compartment. U have some dampers or louvers that direct air flow to fridge and if they are not set properly cooling will not be adequate. Check those out.

Fridge cooling is intermittant. fridge and freezer got warm, so I checked electrical connections and cleaned radiator. Got cold, but took 12 hours. Then got warm (50 degrees) for a day, then cold again.

My regrigerator (GE Profile) is not cold on the fridge side, but ok on the freezer side. I found ice buildup in the freezer so I defrosted and dryed it completely, cleaned it- including coils...

Generaly the control board controls everything sometimes you have a bad thermister GE has a help line I beleive it costs 20.00 bucks but you will need a meter and know how to use it and they willl talk you thru the repair .
