Insignia 32 in Flat Screen

Has sound but no picture. It is not even 2 years old and we do not use this TV that often. Best Buy wants $150 just to come look at it.

You can purchase insignia remotes through eBay or Craigslist, or travel to Best Buy to see what options they have.

Here are some Insignia remote codes:
  • 10171
  • 11204
  • 11963
  • 12002
  • 10463
  • 10783
  • 11944
  • 11250
They are basically just LG televisions branded Insignia by Best Buy.

It sounds like the LCD controller board is bad. There are more than one versions of this board because this brand of TV are made by more than one manufacturers. You need to get the number printed on the circuit board and look here: http://www.shopjimmy.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=Insignia+IS-LCDTV32+

I've never have actually tried fixing these sets. Best Buy usually has the geek squad replace them with a LG product. If unplugging, and resetting doesn't work hopefully, they'll let you do the same. It has to have a service adjustment.

32'' Insignia LCD is flashin colrs. wh,blk,rd,grn, blu. audio wrks

It could actually be quite a few things, loose wire, loose solder piece, bad crt's/picture tube, bad system board, or others. It's would have to be diagnosed with testing equipment. It will probably cost you another 150-200 for the new part to be put in.

SOUND BUT NO PICTURE 46 DAY OLD INSIGNIA.........

If you just bought it, take it back to Best Buy. It has a standard warranty, they should repair it.

Nothing works like they used to nowadays, in my experience Insignia is a good brand. You may have just gotten a bad apple.
