If the board you say is broken is the one you got the part #41A4315-7A, that is the part number you need. You can get it at Sears or any good door service company.

I have a Sears Crafstman Garage door wireless opener. Model 139.53615SR . The door hums but nothing happens. The chain doesn't move. The springs on the door broke last year and i replaced both of them....

My plastic gear stripped soon after a spring broke. I think the broken spring put a huge load on the opener that day and ruined the gear. Replacement wasn't too hard. It will be obvious when you remove the cover if the gear is stripped. Here are instructions:

How do I program a remote garage door opener for a Crafstman 139.53615SR?

Locate the smart/learn button on the rear of the motor unit near where all those white wires go. Hold down the button on the remote while you press and release the smart/learn button. If everything is working and it is the right remote for the opener it will be programmed.

My crafstman garage door opener goes down and then

Remove the cover from the motor unit and check the drive gear. It is a white nylon gear and is probably stripped.

My i/2 hp crafstman chain drive opener stops about a foot from the floor i got it up and noticed the chain was sagging about a foot below the bar how dow I tighten the chain

The adjustment for the chain is on the trolley. That is the part the chain and the door are connected to. Your chain is sagging entirely too much. Have you done any other work to this opener?

Sears Craftsman 3/4

Open up the caseand look at the travel assy. Sometimes the limit (up or down) do fall off the assy. Just snap it back on.
