Crafstman 41A435-7A I have a crafstman door opener k1027, part Nº 41A4315-7A,1/2 HP motor outdoor, that open a slide door; the problem is that the electronic board is broken, and I want to know if I can find a similar one o what door opener do you recomend me. Thank you

the choke should open on its own if its not then theres a problem with the tention spring or you can try resetting the fuel to air mixture screw on carb but i dont think thats it i believe it to be the choke getting stuck
My plastic gear stripped soon after a spring broke. I think the broken spring put a huge load on the opener that day and ruined the gear. Replacement wasn't too hard. It will be obvious when you remove the cover if the gear is stripped. Here are instructions: http://tinyurl.com/gearfix
Locate the smart/learn button on the rear of the motor unit near where all those white wires go. Hold down the button on the remote while you press and release the smart/learn button. If everything is working and it is the right remote for the opener it will be programmed.
The adjustment for the chain is on the trolley. That is the part the chain and the door are connected to. Your chain is sagging entirely too much. Have you done any other work to this opener?
