Xbox 360 my xbox360shuts off whilr i am playing and shows a red light on the left side of the ring and when i check to see if it is hot it is not hot so wht could be the problem

check your red,yellow and white calbes and check if they're in the right slot or check if your on the right video where your xbox is playing from

left side, means thats your 2 red lights is your AV/HDMI cable not connected properly. 3 red lights is the ring of death. 4 red lights is the disk drive/laser has gone.

ok, im so sorry to tell you this but i heard that if the ring on your xbox 360 is red its having a meltdown and its totally broken. my friends xbox did that and he had to get a new one
