Samsung S5230 Sim Freeze, was Bought Brand New Unlocked GSM. as Soon as sim was inserted Sim Freeze Showed up on screen. Help

"Sim freeze" means either your phone is locked to certain carrier or you (or someone else) tried to unlock it too many times. You'll need an 'unfreeze code'. If you're not cell-literate I'd suggest to visit a cell-unlock shop.

Samsung Star GT-S5230 Unlocked Phone with Full Touch Screen Quad-Band GSM Bluetooth, 3.2 MP Camera, have a card slot to put a sim card?
The sim card is inserted above the battery which is located on the back of the phone. The attached photo shows what you will see under the battery cover. First, turn the phone off. To remove the battery, start by removing the battery cover which is the back cover of the phone. Press on the back cover in the center next to the camera and pull the cover down towards the bottom of the phone. The cover should slide off. Slide the sim card, face down with the "notch" on the top right side of the sim up underneath the small metal receptacle designed for the sim card. If you do not see the receptacle, look for an etching of the sim card on the phone that is above and to the right of the sim card receptacle. wickerjk.jpg

The answer is simple...The phone is network locked...either contact the UK Vodafone customer care or contact a mobile shop where you can get it unlocked then you can use the phone in any country...I got my unlocked in INDIA for Rs. 800 that's about $20.That's all you can do because every phone has a different code...so your's one is also unique.
