Connecting cordless optical logictech mouse

I have followed the brief instructions but the mouse does not work. Any suggestions?

  • dee63 Dec 08, 2007

Please direct me to the necessary drivers I need to install for my Logitech LX5 Cordless Optical Mouse. In your previous response you sent a link for drivers which list many and I don't know which one to choose.

    Thank you, Dee63

First, make sure you put the power on for your mouse.

Second, go to device manager and make sure your USB ports are working fine, if they're yellow and have a ? then you will need to install a new driver.

I changed the batteries in my Dell cordless mouse and it still doesn't work. Do I need to change the batteries in my cordless keyboard also?

I checked with someone from the Tech Support Department in my company and suggested I press the connect buttons. I also changed the batteries in my wireless keyboard. I pressed the connect buttons on the receiver, mouse and keyboard. After all this the mouse started working again.
