If you just bought the t.v , go back and tell them that there was no base in the box that you through out, play dump and say it took you a while to figure out that it was missing the base.

How do I disassemble the base so that I may mount my tv on the wall?

Most LCD bases are easy. You need to lay the tv face down, put it on something soft so you don't scuff it up. Normally there anywhere from 4 to 6 phillips head screws around where the base goes into the tv.It should pull out after that.

I am trying to mount my LG 37" on the wall and cannot figure out how to remove the stand that came with the tv

37LG30 - loosened the 4 screws on the back of the TV but base mount wouldn't come off. Found that had to remove the screws even though already loose so that doesn't bind in the holes. Did this by making the loose screws bind in the wholes. Using twisers in the whole would have done the same thing. o

Removing Insignia 37' TV from Stand

There are 7 screws on the back of the tv - should be a phillips, once you have taken all out pull the tv up. If you figure this out I would be willing to buy the stand off you. I removed mine since moving and thought I did not need and threw it away, now need a stand. Email me at [email protected] if you are interested.

Thanks
