I just got a new hitachi 42 in model p42h401 plasma tv last night. the problem is I can't get the power to turn on. I connected everthing according to the instructions but the remote won't turn the tv on nor is there power when I hit the power button on the TV panel. Should I take it back to the store or am I during something wrong
There's a manual push-button power switch approximately underneath the power button's location on the front bezel. Look at the bottom of the TV or feel around for it. It took me quite a while to find, even after looking through the manual!
Take it back to the store, make sure the power cod is in all the way and you dont have it on a switched outlet, see if you can see any cracks or if the box was damaged/
