The Graphics Processing Unit is not working. This requires the xbox 360 to be taken apart right to the motherboard. What has happened is the GPU thermal compound needs to be replaced. Best thing is to send it in for repair.

On a Friedrich in wall AC/Heater in the heat mode in the digital display while the unit is working fine I get a flashing 08 alternating with the temp of 74. Model # PDE15K5SB-A is this a trouble code

This is an error code for "Unit cycles more than 9 times per hour". The service manual says the possible causes are "Unit oversized" and "Low load conditions".

What does this E-74 mean in an xbox 360 console?

The E74 error is caused by the display chip overheating. This is located at the back of the console on the motherboard right next to where your AV cable plugs in.
The reason it gets so hot is because it deals with all the display settings on your system, and the reason that this error does not actually display the normal screen but a black and white error message.
You can of course try few things, like moving your console into an area that gets more ventilation and giving it a good dusting if its still under warranty you might want to talk to microsoft or whoever you bought it from hope this helps and please vote

My HP Officejet J6480 all-in-one gives me Cartridge error: Cartridge on right must be replaced. I have changed the cartridge but still get the message.

These types of 'severe' cartridge errors/alert messages (i.e. "refer to documentation" / "incompatible cartridges", "print cartridge(s) problem", etc.) typically indicates the internal micro-electronics of the HP #74/75 cartridge are damaged. The cartridge's electrical wire runs at rear and lower side of the ink cartridge, are very delicate and are somewhat susceptible to ink attack over time, which can lead to premature failures. In addition, the older the cartridge the higher the chance of an internal electrical failure. I suggest you first run a 'Tap 41' diagnostic test to check cartridges electrical health (this is a forced test); you may also bypass the error (temporarily) on most models which use HP 74/75 cartridges.
