I need a PUK code for my Samsuing SGH-U600,What is it?

A puk code is needed when you have blocked your simcard by entering a wrong pin 3 times,it is easily reset by calling your sim provider for the PUK which they will provide free of charge,

Your phone is not blocked,it is only the simcard

Puk code is sim card spesific and has noting to do with the phone and is not calculated from IMEI which is the phone idenfifyer code (International Mobile Equipment Identity)

As the puk code remains the same on the sim card even if you change it to another phone, the code is not calculated from IMEI.

The puk code may also have came with the documentation of the sim card, if its a prepaid card the puk code comes on the documents or on the box of the product.

if your unable to obtain the puk code, get a new sim card.

You have to contact the phone service provider of that sim card or replace the sim card.

You PUK code is generated from the imei number of the phone, this makes the PUK unique.

Unfortunatly the only way to get a PUK code is to ring your Mobile phone call provider, its should be free but Ive know a few companies that try to charge.
