Have you ever set a security code on the phone? If not, then the default fgactory security code for nokia's (12345). However if you have and you just forgot about it. You might want to contact your service provider or might as well contact manufacturer at Nokia Care Contact Center at 1-888-NOKIA-2U (1-888-665-4228). My nokia 5130 xpress music asks for certificates when i download from ovi store. Its displays "no certificate on phone or sim" . Please suggest how to get user certificates.

Not aware of the 100% solution and never faced such problem too.. but try updating / re-installing the firmware.

1) Turn off your Nokia 5130-c2 phone

2) Remove your SIM CARD and your MEMORY CARD

3) Hide your SIM CARD and your MEMORY CARD in a safe place!

4) Turn on your phone while pressing: Ke(3) + Green call button + *

5) Your Nokia 5130-c2 is now formatting, please wait for a while...

6) When done, reinsert back your SIM CARD and yor MEMORY CARD in to your phone

7) There you go! your code is now set to (12345)

Hi! i don't remember security code of my mobile. My Mobile model is Nokia 5130 xpress music. i deleted all unnecessary data from my mobile, but it still show free memory in KBs. i want to restore my...
the default security code of nokia is 12345 try it but if you changed it then your problem will fix only on nokia mobile service center.

I want to format my nokia 5130 xpress music phone memory HOW CAN I DO THIS..?
Please go to setting then restore factory default & enter your mobile phone security code .
If you dont have security code of your mobile phone, then please in any nokia multimedia mobile install the software names "MCODE" available at any mobile software website. 

Now enter ur emei no. when asked u will get a 1o digit code it will be ur new security code
