SOURCE: why does the ice bucket not drain into the hot tub!

Ice buckets don't normally drain into the hot tub water. They should drain externally. The drain pipe will go through the cabinet and exit the bottom close to the floor.... or at least that's how all the ice buckets I've encountered drain.

Ian.

SOURCE: i connected a hose extension

Andre, the problem lies in the length of the hose (should be no longer than 5 feet) and trying to drain it into the bath tub. Your dehumidifier relies entirely on gravity to drain. It will not drain upward over the edge of the bath tub. Water gets trapped in the hose, because of this and creates a blockage. When that happens, water is diverted back to the tank.

For continuous darinage, it should be into a floor drain or a sump. So unless yo have one of the aforementioned, continuous drainage is not an option for you.

Hope this helped you understand how it works and what your options are.

SOURCE: My hot tub drained overnight by itself will this have burn the motor up and could the garden hose being left in the tub have drained it that fast

Most hot tubs have a low water cut off switch to protect the pump so it may be okay. A garden hose could have drained the water out overnight. Hope this helps.

How do I change the set point on my hot tub

If you have the I-command system, you should be able to connect to it via your phone and set it to the desired temp

Otherwise, you should be able to increase or decrease the temp from the control/display panel on the hot-tub, usually with Temp + and Temp - buttons. There are several types of displays based on year of manufacture...If you have on eof the fancy displays, you will have to cycle through the "Mode" options till you get to Set Point temp.

You can either do the research on the manufacturer website: https://www.hydropoolhottubs.com/en/Support/Product_Manuals

or, grab your serial number and give them a call at: 1-800-465-2933

Hydropool hot tub

Check your filter. It may be clogged. This will restrict flow and prevent the pressure/flow switch from actuating. The heater will think that water is not flowing and not allow the burner to produce heat.

Took apart the washer and dryer and need to put it back together...i have everything except where the clear plastic hose goes

Kristen-follow the hoses-water comes into machine at the water supply valves-hot and cold which go into the tub-then there is a drain pump which is connected to the tub via a hose-the out put of the drain pump is connected to the drain through the back of the machine usually at the bottom and this goes into your houses' drain-follow the hoses and you shall reach laundry success-cheers Denny

How do you drain the spa?

There is probably a drain valve somewhere near the control panel ... forgetabout it ... too slow.

Best way is to get a small pump and pump it away. Next best is wet dry (shop vac). My favorite is siphon ... dont have to buy anything or drag anything out ... only a hose. By the time my water is out ... I have had time to do the necessary surface cleaning and waxing.

We have a dreammaker spa, how do we drain it? the model is Fantasy

The Fantasy has a drain located in the toekick of the spa. You have to first remove the drain cap, attach a hose if you wish, spin the outer black ring counter clockwise to start the water flow, then pull the outer ring out away from the tub to increase the drain to full flow.
I understand that a screw driver is often needed to pull the outer ring out to achieve full flow. Therefore, I suggest another method. Take a garden hose and place it in front of the jet while the spa jets are on. This will force water flow thru the hose and prime the hose. Once you see water running from the other end of the hose, drop the hose in front of the spa jet into the footwell and as long as the loose end is lower than the end in the footwell, a siphon will drain the spa as fast as the spa drain will. Remember to turn off electric to the spa once you have established a siphon. You may have to bucket the last bit of water in the footwell. Goodluck.
