Why do scrambled letters appear at timed on my ergonomoic scale and will not allow me to weigh my luggage?

EACH BUTTON IS FOR FOUR INDIVIDUAL USER. BUTTON ALLOWS YOU TO INPUT IDEAL WEIGHT (FOUR GOAL WEIGHTS FOR FOUR INDIVIDUAL USERS). AND CALCULATE AGAINST ONE OF THE FOUR INDIVIDUAL ACTUAL WEGHTS. i AM USER 1 IN MY FAMILY. I HIT THE 1 BUTTON, WEIGHT AND MY GOAL WEIGHT COMES UP BEFORE MY ACTUAL.

SOURCE: New Scale out of box will not weigh correctly

Take a 5 pound bag of sugar, flour or what have you. Put it on the scale. If it is off, turn the scale so that you can check every possible place for an adjustment. Adjust and go for it!!! Good luck...Lee

Hi dogwalk564,

Make sure of the following:

Be sure to place the luggage in the dead center of the scale, this will distribute weight evenly across the scale, also try to keep it on a level floor, any slight incline or decline to a side of the scale, will give you a bad reading.

How do you know the scale is incorrect, how do you reference it to the current reading?

i repaired one that did not have batteries installed and ran on ac only the problem was in the power supply. it had a couple swollen capacitors they should be flat on top but bad when bulged out
