I have a coby TFDVD7008 but it only plays region 1. How I do to open other regions? Tkts
1. Open DVD tray
2. Press the "Menu" button (ignore message "Not allowed at this moment")
3. Press 8888
4. Press the "Display" button
5. Region Code Number shows up. Use the numeric keypad to select your
region code number (0 - 6).
6. Press the Enter button.

Dvd will not play any dvd same message show's BAD DVD no matter what. Even if DVD is new!!
Your unit may be to old for the new codes & formats, you may need to purchase a new one. Sometimes your eye sensor needs to be clean with a Q tip & some alcohol.

Go to Coby Electronics. Search for your product. If it is more than five minutes old it will not be on the list. It is on the server though. Put in the model number mp-cXX and the manuals are there in pdf form!
