SOURCE: Edit Text on a picture after Adding it

no, text in an image is not saved as text, it is encoded to each pixel that it overwrites.
do not add text in camera, save the images to a hard disk and use a simple image editor, like irfanview http://www.irfanview.com, to do the text overlays, it has undo, you can use irfanview to pixel edit the text set image

SOURCE: can i revert a photo edited on adobe photoshop?

Once the edited image has been saved, the original image gets over written and there is usually no way to go back to the un-edited version.

If you have the original source file, you can restore it to your hard drive. An example of this would be copying a picture from your digital camera to your hard drive again.

You can also retrieve the original file if you've used Windows Backup or some other backup program to save a copy of selected files.

In order to transfer the books to the Reader using the ADE, the ADE should be installed. download the software from http://www.adobe.com/products/digitaleditions . Then, authorize the Reader and the Computer using the ADE. Then, import the file to the library and then drag and drop the book from the library to the Reader.

I AM TRYING TO FILL IN AN APPLICATION FORM IN A PDF FILE AND I DON'T GET ANY OPTIONS TO HIGHLIGHT TEXTS. IS IT BECAUSE THE COMPUTER I'M USING DOESN'T HAVE MICROSOFT WORD INSTALLED?

What program did you use to open the PDF? If you opened it with the default program, you probably used Adobe Reader which does not allow you to edit PDFs. You can import PDFs into several Office suites with add-ons. For example, Open Office 3 has a PDF add-on that lets the PDF be opened and modified in Draw and Impress. There are also online PDF editors and some low cost alternatives to Adobe Acrobat is the full program that makes PDFs. PDFill PDF Editor gets some good reviews

as does www.pdfescape.com/ (an on-line option). Please note that most will put their logo on your document as a footer or somewhere unless you use a paid version.

    I hope this helps.

(word does the PDF import more easily as I recall (possibly with an add-on) but there are alternatives.)

How do you take a scanned article and transfor it to adobe reader 9 to alter document? I need to change the format i guess so it would register the material.

If you are working with a scanned document (TIFF, GIFF, etc) you must use an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) application to translate the scanned text into editable text. An application such as Omnipage will do this.
If you want a less expensive/less feature rich application try some of the trial OCR applications on ZDNET downloads at

Deleting words in Adobe 7.0 Professional

You can do that to some extent (if you do extensive editing, it can mess wit the layut of your document).
Go to Tools/Advanced Editing/TouchUp Text Tools. Select the text to delete and presse delete or type the new text.
If you are not able to select text, maybe your document was scanned as an image only. In that case, go to Documents/OCR Text Recognition and do a text recognition of the page or pages you want to edit or of your entire document. Then go through the steps stated above and tr again.
    Hope this helps.

    Help with adobe 7.1.0

In order to edit a PDF document, you will need either one of Adobe's commercial Acrobat products or a similar third-party application.

You can often copy the contents of a PDF document to a word processor or text editor program (e.g., Microsoft Word or Notepad) and then edit them, but in this case you cannot resave the document as PDF (unless your word processor specifically has the ability to create PDF files).

    To copy the document's contents:

from the Adobe Reader Edit menu,

    choose Save as Text.

Alternatively, from the Edit menu, choose Select All; then, from the same menu, choose Copy, and then paste the text into your word processing program using that program's paste function.

    Cannot edit scanned document

    Hi,

its like this, the OCR or the SOftware installed in your computer is limited. If you're trying to scan a document which has a picture or with text that uses different fonts like monotype, or those that are not usually being use for normal documents, usually it wouldnt detect and it become distorted. Anyways, here are the steps that i want you to follow.

    1. Open solution center. (click start, go to all programs, go to HP, then click on SOLUTION CENTER). or you can see SOlution Center on your Desktop.
    2. Click on Scan Documents, then the Scan documents setting will open. Change the settings to these.
    * SCAN TO: Microsoft Word.
    3. Then, hit scan.
    4. After scanning, the folder My Scans will open automatically, just go ahead and open the scanned document.
    5. From there, you can start editing the text.

..remember, the scan a document is limited, it will not read all types of fonts. if the document is using a "times new roman" or "arial" the scanned document appears to be almost the same with the original. But, if the scanned document contains pictures or stylish fonts, that would make the document distorted.

Please let me know if you still have clarifications.

    Thank you.

    Scan document

Is very hard to alter a scanned document if you are not sure how to, especially without the help of an editing software. but try to scan it to text if you have Word it sure will help, scan it to Word and after is saved you can type or erase certain portions of the document, browse trough the tools tab to search for the option that will suit better the type of work you want to do on your document. If you have Adobe Acrobat Professional this is very easy to do, you only have to scan the document on Adobe format and using the advanced editing tool.
