Question about Apex Digital GB43HD09 43" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television

No picture on it.just went out or off

IT IS A APEX GB43HD10.THE PICTURE WENT OUT ONE DAY AND IT WILL NOT TRUN ON ARE OFF.IT JUST DARK NO SOUND OR A PICTURE ON IT.

Thecnical problem may be it a fuse on the main board or power supply.

I WOULD SAY NO ! THE PICTURE TUBE IS PROBABLY AS MUCH AS THE TV IS WORTH. i had a very nice sony trinatron tv. the picture tube whent on it at about 5 years so I CALLED FOR REPAIR AND THE PICTURE TUBE WAS 2-300 DOLLARS. good-day !

possible solder connection in the powersupply needs to be
resolderd it shouldnt cost much

No picture, no sound, no lights, faint clicking sound, fuse ok

HT transistor, or rectfying diode from chopper transformer is blown.

My tv screen just went blank i still get sound but no picture . The TV is a Logik flat screen and in great condition, never been dropped etc. Picture just went one day, the screen comes on when powered up...

I was watching My Apex Digital GB43HD10 one night and i smelled smoke the TV went blank i lost all power, i called the repair man and he came and looked at it and replaced the thermosat and it solved the problem.

Picture went dark

This problem can be a bad YSUS or bad ZSUS and I recommend replacing both. The part #s are 6871QYH039B and 6871QZH044C. These parts can be found at Andrews or Vance Baldwin.

I have the same set, about a year into owning it went black, power light but no picture, still under warrenty and ended up being the main board, they replaced and has worked well since, these tvs are sensative to spikes over the cable line, I got a really good cable surge protector after it was fixed.

GB43HD10 PROBLEM

The circuit board on the right hand side is either cracked or the soldering came loose, I took mine apart and found it by mistake, everytime I pulled up the board i had picture again, so I propped up the board with some dumb-dumb and it has still been working, there are no parts for this TV
