Which is the best team to hire for reinstalling my hedge over the Quinn's Rock area?

Hedging Services Quinns Rocks, Are you wondering what type of hedge you would like to place in your garden? Well, you need to choose hedges that are pest and disease resistant, and of course these hedges should also be suitable for the climate and garden conditions in which they will grow.
When planning where to place them, you need to plot a line on your garden. You can use a measuring tape as a guide. The lines can be straight or curved, depending on your preference. Allow space for your potted shrubs and set them in two rows for a thicker hedge. When marking the holes, use the mature width of the shrubs as spacing between plants' roots. After that, you can remove the pots and start digging the planting holes. But always keep in mind the spacing for each shrub so they can reach their mature spread. Remember to water them well.

  • Hedges look great! Any shape, size or for any purpose, they will add a great feature to your garden!
  • Hedges change with the season. Depending on what type of plants you get they can flower or change colour through the year adding variety and interest to the garden.
  • Hedges are wildlife attracting. Birds, bees, butterflies and other wildlife will be encouraged to enter your garden.
  • Hedges are weather resistant. Unlike metal fencing which can rust or wooden fences that can split, warp or peel. Plants when properly looked after will generally outlive fences.
  • It's easier to DIY. You don't have to pay someone to construct or fit a fence, wall, retaining wall for you, as you can plant a hedge yourself instead.

Is there any company providing hedging services over the Glenelg area?

Pros of Hedging
Hedging Services Glenelg, Evergreen hedges can look fantastic alongside your garden design

Cons of Hedging
  • Plants are expensive. They are definitely not cheap and the larger the hedge you want the more it will cost to set it all up.
  • Planting a hedge that fails to grow is a costly exercise. There are no guarantees that you plants will flourish and form a beautiful thick hedge. You may need to fork out more money to replace any plants that failed to grow.
  • Depending of the type of plant, hedges can take a long time to establish. Sometimes plants especially the larger they are take a lot more time and effort to establish than others, so getting a hedge can be a timely experience and does not happen over night- it's a work in progress!
  • Ongoing Maintenance. The hedge will need to be watered and then pruned regularly in order to keep its shape & appearance.

I am installing Everbilt 4-ft. wire fencing using Everbilt 6 ft T-posts. So far, I've not been able to generate the desired tension in the fence itself.

fencers will tell you that a tight fence breaks easily and it is not advisable to have it too tight
wire used is not high tensile wire
the intervals are too far apart at 8 ft for a stable fence and the distance normally is 6ft
the method to get a good fence using wire strands is to roll the wire roll out as that lays the wire out straight and not pick the wire up off the coil which twists the wire and makes it near impossible to pull tight

I have Parmak S.E.3 fence charger, it's send energy out into wire but not enough to shock cattle, the unit is around a 7 acre field with 2 lines, what could be the problem?

Grounding is very important for an electric fence, especially in dry soil. I normally drive 2 or 3 - 6 foot long ground rods 10 feet apart then join them all together and run that to the charger using double 14 gauge or 12 gauge copper wire. You can get the roda at Tractor Supply.

How far apart should i plant bean seeds?

Bean seeds should be planted at least three inches apart. They grow quickly and their leaves are wide so you want to give them room to grow.

How far apart do i plant the photinia fireball red/dwarf plant

The mature spread is about 4-5 feet. If you want them to be single shrubs, plant accordingly, but if in a hedge like format, around 3.5-4.5 feet. REMEMBER: the plant may be small now, but you have to give it room to mature.

Fencing

I am trying to install some heavy duty mesh fence to round fence posts. The corners are difficult because the posts were to far apart(11') to use the same 3.5 diameter that I use for the post for the corner rails. The best thing I found for it was 3.5 in square after doing a lot of research. Now I am not sure how far above the bottom of the pole to install it. I was going to use lag screws to screw it threw the fence post into the square top rail. Where should the top rail be in relation to the top of the wire mesh? The mesh is 4' high. Right now I have a 2" gap.
