I was talking on my cell phone and the battery ran down (it had one bar
left and the indicator light was yellow). I plugged it in to charge,
and when I looked again, the battery indicator was now
blinking red, as opposed to the usual transgressing green bars. What
does this mean? I couldn't find anything about this in the manual.

Battery Error Coneventions
Many battery manufacturers use rapidly blinking lights to
indicate that a battery's charge level is low. In general, a laptop will
rapidly blink orange or red when its charge drops below a certain level
until the computer is plugged into a power outlet and charged. If your
laptop's battery indicator continues to blink rapidly in orange or red
or if it remains red even when it is plugged into the charger, it
indicates a problem with your battery or the charger.
The blinking red lights are an indication that your phone battery is drained and needs to be charged before the phone can switch on. There's nothing wrong with your phone.

Use something like a needle to scratch the terminals of the battery and put your ****** to the terminals to make it a little wet. Then put the battery back inside the phone without connecting the charger to the phone. Then after the red light comes on, connect the charger. If the red light doesn't come on, connect the charger and put the battery inside.

Hi, when a phone won't turn on and blinks red light, it 's either the battery cell if too weak to power up the phone all application you downloaded on the phone has VIRUS and has affected the phone memory.
First Charge the battery for longer hours before using another battery to confirm if the battery cell is the problem.
If not battery, in think you will have to flash the phone memory for it to come back to life. You can contact the manufacturer or a phone repairer to handle this. Hope this helpout in solving the problem....
As you know, solid red on your charger means that the battery is fully charged and the BLINKING red light means the battery is charging. Unless the light is blinking irradically everything is working the way it is supposed to. If the light is blinking irradically, the battery may just be too hot or too cold to charge ( like when you are driving many lags and your battery dies) and in this case simply wait 15 minutes to charge. If you get a fast blinking light still, the problem probably is with the battery.
Battery icon goes yellow when charge is low, red when about to go off, yes, that's OK. Recommend give it more time after all the bars are full-white, to trickle more into the battery. Lithium batteries don't seem to like being flattenend and left flat in my experience.
The light blinks for all sorts of things, might also have pending messages, etc. Can use the Storm OK while it's charging, just hold down red button to turn it on again.
After turning on, sometimes the cellular receiver does not turn on until battery is more charged. Wait 10 mins and then try to make a phone call, you may get a message saying it's off, do you want to turn the receiver on - just say yes.
Rub the terminals of the battery with your fingers and than again put it on charging .... before doing that remove the battery from the cell for an hour..
if it show fully battery also when u charge your battery it show from the red indicate only tht is not a problem... u need to charge the battery fully ... untill the msg shown as charge complet .. so need not to worry about the Red blinking battery indicator when you plug in charger.
