Here is the link to the owners manual. This feature is not mentioned. Look at the molding in the metal case of the front of the dryer. See if there are identical moldings for the door and latch on both sides. If not, no. Only alternative is to get longer connection hoses and swap washer with dryer left to right.
hello you need to change drum rollers but if u remarked water dawn the washer and burn smell it could be the motor OR THE BELT because when the drum stop turning or turn slowly the motor turn fast on the belt when spin time it make this smell .
We have a Maytag Performa G3300 that we bought on 8/13/2001. It still works great, but on 2/25/10 it stopped heating. We found that by removing the front panel and vacuuming the accumulated lint on the inside of the dryer and the door, the problem was resolved. There were no parts to replace, just vacuuming.
It appears Maytag no longer produces the type of quality product we have purchased since 1970... we've owned three Maytag Washers - our last "performa" is a piece of ****!
I purchased a Maytag Performa washer in 2003 and experienced the same thing. A service call found a loose electrical connection behind the switch panel. The washer has worked fine since.
Hope this helps.
