First of all where are the accounts othe students located. On Active Directory? If yes log on to the server and go to Active Directory Users and Computers, then go to the Organizational Unit where the user accounts are of the one to be deleted. You can click on one user account ,then to delete multiple users just hold down control button and continue to click the user accounts you want deleted. the right click on the blue part and delete. NOTE: Always make a backup of the users/students you want deleted. you could need their data later again

If 5 out of 18 students work in college, how many would work if there were 1120 students?

Probably the same 5 students while the rest were studying and going to parties. :)

Set up the solution by paying particular attention to the word 'of'. This is a clue that you will have to set up some sort of division or ration problem.

5/18 = x/1120

From cross multiplication we get x = 1120 * 5 / 18 = 311.111111111

Therefore, approximately 311 students would work if there were 1120 students.

What is the basic difference between multitasking multiprogrammin

I would have expected that you would be asking the difference between
multithreading and parallel processing, which is simply a matter of using
sequential processor [multithreading] to simulate simultaneous data streams from multiple processors [parallel processing] while the terms you did inquire concerning are various terms of varying complexity which refer to the simultaneous accomplishment of various tasks.

A multithreading processor alternates the application of tasks to alternating clock cycles of the same processor.

A parallel processor has a matrix of multiple processors assigned to diverse tasks with streaming data from each clock cycle of the same processor for the same task.

multitasking simply means the simultaneous accomplishment of multiple tasks by any means including cyber or human.

Multiprogramming is the simultaneous operation of various alogorithms
where none are halted to allow the others to proceed, which process can be accomplished through with either parallel processors or a multithreaded processor.

Prior to the existence of multiple processors in a single CPU (ex. Core Duo) or even Multithreaded Processors [Pentium Four, PPC], certain types of looping algorithmic methods could be applied [and this programmer did apply such] to multiple tasks to create
the appearance that the tasks were accomplished simultaneously.
The latter was more of a Trompe l'Oeil

Application and example of relationship in access

After you've set up multiple tables in your Microsoft Access database, you need a way of telling Access how to bring that information back together again. The first step in this process is to define relationships between your tables. After you've done that, you can create queries, forms, and reports to display information from several tables at once.

A relationship works by matching data in key fields - usually a field with the same name in both tables. In most cases, these matching fields are the primary key from one table, which provides a unique identifier for each record, and a foreign key in the other table. For example, teachers can be associated with the students they're responsible for by creating a relationship between the teacher's table and the student's table using the TeacherID fields.

Having met the criteria above, follow these steps for creating relationships between tables.
  1. In the database window view, at the top, click on Tools ---> Relationships
  2. Select the Tables you want to link together, by clicking on them and selecting the Add Button
  3. Drag the primary key of the Parent table (Teacher in this case), and drop it into the same field in the Child table (Student in this case.)
  4. Select Enforce Referential Integrity
    • When the Cascade Update Related Fields check box is set, changing a primary key value in the primary table automatically updates the matching value in all related records.
    • When the Cascade Delete Related Records check box is set, deleting a record in the primary table deletes any related records in the related table
  5. Click Create and Save the Relationship

Multiple sessions of Word 2003

You can open multiple documents in Word 2003, and use the "Windows" item on the toolbar to switch between them.

Having multiple copies of Word running simultaneously uses a tremendous amount of memory. One copy of the program with multiple docs opened is a much more efficient way of using the computer's resources.
