Can't you buy one through ebay or something? There are a lot of online stores that I am sure you could get one send to you. Maybe Staples.com, Officemax, Bestbuy, to name a few. Please rate my answer so I get points for it.
If your current pendrive is working than change other pendrive and see whether it happen again. But if your new pendrive is working than your previous pendrive got problem.
I would tick in one box automatically fix files then return after it has repaired then tick the other box click start control panel administrive tools,computer management ,disk management right click on your drive select properties click tools you should see click check now click start two boxes automatically fix files and scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors place then a tick in both boxes then select check now,start or you might tick one box then return after its finished the first repair the tick the second box hope this helps don
