No Beep Sound and Screen while starting the system

After pushing the power on button everything inside the system is working. The HDD, the fans and the CD/DVD is running. I have tested the grafic card in another system. It is OK. I have put out each of the SD Ram modules. The problem is the same. No beep sound and screen. What can this be? The board, the CPU, bios or Power sypply? How can I find what the problem is?
Many thanks for your solution!

It could be power supply, processor or the motherboard.
Try first with the power supply. Then try changing the processor.
I guess that you have problems with the processor.

HP TouchSmart 310-1125f display is black

Hearing fans and hard drive spin up doesn't necessarily mean system is working - just without video. If you heard a POST beep or the Windows Startup sound that would be different - and good. Is there any video on the screen at all, even just a blinking cursor in upper left of display? If not, your problem is probably hardware such as ram or motherboard. If this system has a VGA or HDMI output to connect to another monitor or TV would be a good check, but AIO system usually don't have that option. Other than that, and this is a shot in the dark: Ensure the system is off, disconnect the power plug, and hold the power button in for 30 sec for a power reset. Then plug in system and try powering it up again. If no go, you may have a hardware problem and will need a PC Tech. Hopefully it is just loose ram.

Touchscreen not working.

Do you hear a beep when you touch the screen? If you do it is more than likely a software issue, or the cameras are misaligned..
First thing to try is Scroll Lock Calibration.. Press Scroll Lock on your keyboard 5 times quickly, your cursor should move to the top left of your screen, press and hold your finger on it until you hear a beep, remove your finger and itshould automatically move to the top right, repeat for each corner, when it is done the cursor will move to the middle of the screen, and the touch screen should be working
If the computer does not beep when you tocuh the cursor and the cursor does not move when you remove your finger it means your touch is not being recognized... it could be a software or hardware issue, here is one way to find out..
First do a power drain.. shut down the computer and unplug everything from it (including the power cord) and press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.. Now boot the computer into BIOS by tapping F10 on startup.. inside the BIOS touch the screen.. do you hear a beep? if so it is a software issue, if not more than likely it is a hardware issue
A few other things you can try... open the Touch Screen Configuration Tool inside the Control Panel, make suire the touch screen and sound are enabled, select the Troubleshooting tab, click Restore Defaults, try the Calibration function... beyond that you could try System Restore/System Recovery..
Good luck

Why is my ps3 160 gb not working.. the green light comes on. but takes 10s to come off. there is no yello light. maybe its the hdd . . . there is nothing showing on the screen

Hi there, try to do a hard reboot on your system. I suggest you have the system turned off, and when you power it up from the system itself hold the power button not just push it. It will beep and turn on but while you are holding the button it should beep beep again and turn back off continue to hold the button and it should boot up 1 more time. or you may have to let go of the button and hit it 1 more time, but it may help your situation

I am slowly rebuilding my computer. When I nearly got it finished, and turned it on, it came up with "Windows Was Not Found". Knowing what to do, I turned everything off, unplugged it properly, and...

Check for motherboard. use only 3 parts:

motherboard
PSU
CPU + COOLER

Connect your motherboard to PSU and see, if any LED light comes from motherboard. If LED is on, then try to turn motherboard on and see if cooler works.
Are case wires (power +, power -, hdd +, hdd -, reset+, reset -, power led+, power led - and speaker wire ) connected correctly?
Those wires look like this:

front-panel-headers-nsatmeh50lx5u1woeaeqllmn-4-0.jpgThis image is just reference.
If the power wire (sometimes called POWER SW) is not connected correctly, when you press the power button of case, PC just won't turn on.

If PC turns on and CPU fan spins, then try to add RAM, Graphics card and try again.
Next step is to hear BEEP sound. One short beep sound is normal, anything else is not normal and indicates the problem of the specific hardware according to the sound code. Sound code is BIOS dependent. In case ASUS A8V-E Deluxe, it is Award BIOS. Check below for Award BIOS beep codes

1 long, 2 shortIndicates a video error has occurred and the BIOS cannot initialize the video screen to display any additional information

1 long, 3 shortVideo card not detected __ (reseat video card) or bad video card

Beeps repeating endlessly __ RAM problem.

Repeated high frequency beeps while PC is running __Overheating processor (CPU)

Repeated beeps alternating high & low frequency ___Issue with the processor (CPU), possibly damaged

Wont start messages comes up saying correct hard disk not found

your hard drive may be dying. or the file system may be corrupted.

before you get a new hard drive there are some tricks to try.

#1 remove the HDD and boot it up without it in, then turn off and put the HDD back in and boot again.

#2 rebuild the file system in the recovery menu

#3 rebuild the database in the recovery menu

To get to the recovery menu you need to press and hold the power button when the ps3 is in standby mode untill you hear a double beep then release. sometimes the ps3 will go back to standby mode before it does the double beep if it does just release the button and press and hold again real fast and wait for double beep.

here is what mine does

ps3 standby(red light) press hold power...........beep...............beep.........standby again, release hold............beep..................double beep ..release power button.

from the recovery consol you can rebuild the file system and database sometimes when they are corrupted it has same symptoms as a dying HDD.

P.S. rebuilding the file system and database will not lose any of your ps3 data, other options will though like the restore ps3 and format HDD.
if the above tricks dont work try updating the firmware, if your at the current firmware you can re-install it from the recovery menu as well using a usb memory stick or a cd with the firmware on it.

if all that doesnt help it looks like its time to get a new HDD, but at least you can upgrade it to a bigger ps3 now. any sata laptop HDD should work. i think a 160gb HDD is only $50ish.

More than likely the small fan inside has burned out. Now both of your hard drives are fried. So replace the little fan. And install one working hard drive. Ive had to do this a few times. Ask a computor friend to help you instead of sending it in.good luck
