Where I can find a battery for Dell INSPIRON 1525 ?

Can anyone tell me where I can find a battery for Dell INSPIRON 1525 ? I've been searching for 30min now. I know there are other sites like ebay.com and battery-center.net I would rather know the price of the official dell battery though.

LOL, It means whoever sold you that Power Cord probably sold you one with the interchangeable end that can plug into any laptop. If it's not the interchangeable end type, they sold you one that is not compatible with your laptop. Get rid of it in a hurry before it burn out your motherboard. Battery low shows plugged in but not charging

The battery has exceeded its "lifetime".

Either go to www.ebay.com to search for a replacement (original Dell battery or 3rd party equivalent).

Or, search online for companies that will take your battery, disassemble it, replace the rechargeable cells, and reassemble it, and ship it back to you.

Dell 1525 won't run on ac but will on generic battery

Dell systems will not charge the battery without a Dell Branded AC adapter connected to the system (The BIOS looks for the adapter ID and disables the battery charger if not ID'd)
It appears, that since the system will not power on with either AC adapter, that there is a problem with the power connection of the system. You can replace the power board

Yes. you can go to that link,I cannot find anysite offering less than that with one year warranty even in Amazon.

I have a dell inspiron 1525. the battery worked just fine a month back....now i cannot use it without plugging it in and moreover the battery blue kight index on the left has turned red. what should i do??

change the bettery.

Dell Inspiron 1525 not turning on

hi. I suspect that you have either a dead battery or just need a reset. unplug the power cord and then remove the battery. wait two minutes and reinstall the battery.
this will reset everything. now try turning it on. if it won't come on plug in the power cord and charge the battery for 30 minutes before attempting to power up.
