It can't be removed, unless its a dirt spot and then you can take a paper towel with some glass cleaner on it and then you can wipe off the screen.

Try that anyway and if it doesn't come off then you know the LCD is going bad on you and you'll have to get it replaced eventually.

Black spots laptop screen

Pinpointed spots can be damaged pixels that no longer light up when energized. They cannot be repaired and you will have to live with them, or get a new display. Try to use the Color Adapter port to a standard LCD Screen. On the side of the computer is a small 9 pin (usually blue) port whereby you can attach a desktop monitor as an alternative to the LCD Panel on the laptop.

Loss of light on screen Dell Inspiron E1705

Looks like the backlighting on the display has failed, sometimes it is just a lose cable, buy most often the LCD needs to be replaced.

to check the cable see the manual at http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/ins9400/ for how to get to the LCD cables (usually just under the cover that the power button is on)

Black Spots on LCD for Latitude D505

If you?re positive that the black spots aren?t dirt or scratches on the outside of your screen you are probably dealing with dead screen pixels. Short of replacing the LCD screen there is no way to repair them.
