I am having the same problem and I did plug it in turned off and still nothing. I have vista and have looked all over and still haven't found a solution for it.

fawi71 is and idiot. That is an amateur solution and shouldn't post unless it is useful or you are having the same problem. The solution will be found in a Russian website. I use Mozilla as my search agent and it has a translator on it that was able to translate the Russian website that has the driver on it. It is a 13.1MB file but it did the job for me.http://forum.x-drivers.ru/index.php?show... that is the site. the posters name is Zhelezak. This is a direct link to ithttp://x-drivers.ru:81/flashers/mp3playe... I hope that it works for you. By the way I use Vista for my OS.

No pc recognizes the V-touch 8gb mp3 player by Visual Land

Windows xp, Vista, and Windows7 should already have a driver included for the v-touch. It's possible that if your computer has a compact flash card reader, that it maybe preventing the v-touch driver from being correctly installed. Try using the "Safely remove Hardware" to temporarily remove your cf card reader. Then try plugging in your v-touch. It should now correctly install the driver and the v-touch will show up as a new drive. In Windows Device Manager under "Disk Drives" you should see 2 new devices - "Company PNP Platform OPN USB Device" and "Company PNP Platform SDC USB Device

Rizone 32gb. Only charging to 3 bars instead of 4 and this takes hours and hours. Can't find shuffle setting and can't drag and drop music. On screen it shows as gone in but when i check player music has...

To charge your player, with the player on OFF, connect it to a computer or other charging device. Then, after everyting is connected, then turn your player to ON. (For some reason, my player doesn't charge if it is already ON while being connected to the computer or other device.) It will charge.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is the solution that I use for the music. Connect you player to the computer. Turn it ON after being connected. Go to FILE NAVIGATIONN. Copy your music there. (not in any forler, but as a separate entry in FILE NAVIGATION) Next, disconnect your player from the computer. (Use the SAFELY REMOVE HARDWARE feature for this.)

On the player, there is a PLAY button (NOT THE ONE MARKED "M", BUT THE ONE WITH THE RIGHT FACING ARROW WITH THE TWO BARS) next to the volumn button. After going into the FILE NAVIGATION menue, scroll down to the song(s) and/or music you want to move. Click the song using PLAY. You will see three options: MOVE, COPY, and DELETE. Scroll down to the MOVE option. In the main menue of FILE NAVIGATION, scroll down to MUSIC. Now click the "M" button (the one next to the button with two arrows and one bar). A screen will come up that says that the file is being moved. The song will now be in the MUSIC folder.

You could use the COPY or DELETE features for their respected funtions if you want to when these functions appear.

This is as complete as I can make it.

When i connect ipod to my laotop it open as apple ipod but the y shows like camera&scanner. why my ipod is not opening through?

Before your laptop can recognize your device i.e. your ipod touch you need a driver for this device, you can downld it from itunes website. After you have downlded this driver install it then re-connect your ipod device to your laptops usb hub.

Samsung YP-U3 MP3 Player Problem connection

Found the solution on another site (http://www.everythingusb.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=11238). To quote user AFHavemann :

"* Plug in the player so the USB bus can see it.

* Once it’s recognized (i.e., the device screen reads "Charging" and "USB Disconnected"), go to the Control Panel and click "System"

* Choose "Hardware" then "Device Manager" tab.

* Look for the name of your device under “Portable Devices” in the list

* If the name of your player is under “MTP Device” then the correct drivers are probably loaded

* Right-click on the name of your device and click "Properties"

* Click “Update Driver”"

Then follow the prompts from there. The computer searches for the driver software, etc., and reinstalls/resets information related to the device, which fixed things such that the computer will now recognize the device. I'm not sure what causes the problem, but this solution seems to reset whatever's gone wrong.
