Hi when i plug in my sony walkman series nwzb-135 the port is not recognised by my pc

1.If it is detected as Walkman but not showing as a removable drive then a.Goto device manager and right click on Sony Walkman and select update driver
b.Choose the advanced option and then select i will choose the driver to install.
c.In the window that appears,select mass storage device rather than MTP device.

2.If it is not detected at all,you need to download the firmware from here: http://support.sony-europe.com/dna/downloads/firmware/firmware.aspx?site=odw_en_GB&m=NWZ-B135&f=FRM_NWZ_B13x_f After downloading,run it and then connect the player to system while holding the "volume -" button...it should be detected and the firmware would be restored.

But this file is for nwz-b135 f... and I have also the same problem.. on the disply I see only `walkman` and nothing else

There are no as such drivers for mp3 player but you can find its "system32" on internet. But before you do so. try this step plug you player in back of you computer USB port rather than plugin in Front panels.

Hello

Well, if the computer does not recognize that anything has been plugged in, there might be a fault with the cable itself, or the connection unit of the device you want to access. I would try plugging it into one of the other USB ports at the back of the pc and see if the computer responds differently to the insertion of a cable. Hope this can help.

I think you are speaking about pluging in the phone in system.. If so it is based on the OS. If you have windows xp then you should find a software in the net to make the sys recognise the walkman series.. If you are using vista then it shd recognise by itself..

It is common problem on most of the PC USB ports does not recognise external hardware.It is mainly due to lack power supplied by the USB Ports..You can try with Old Pentium4 maschines.IT Reads well..

Another thing dont use extension ports to plug external HDD..always use backside on board ports.\

hi got the same fuckin' problem with mine . my Gf got one too and is stuck with the same problem. we think we may have exposed our devices to one overcharge. kinda forget it plugged to the pc for a few hours... says full when we connect it to the pc (mine). but stays off when i retire it from the usb connection.
