The fault is with its main board itself. Troubleshooting to this board is not an easy work to a user can do. It will be best to contact any service technician. google.com/+GopakumarGopalan
It could be the temp sensor going bad. This sensor sits on top of the
metal housing which the bulb assembly slides into. The bulb assembly
will have a hole on top and this is where the sensor is above. There is a
small blue and white wire that plugs into it. If you pull the wire out
and put a paper clip or wire in the coupling you will basically bypass
the sensor connecting the blue and white wire. If your tv turns on then
that is your problem. Its cheap too. Here were my symptoms..1] Turn tv
on 2] Bulb would light up..(which eliminates the ballast) regular
picture would show up (which eliminates the bulb and color wheel) 3] 30
seconds later tv would shut down with 3 flashing lights. After bypass
the tv turned on as always and hasnt shut down yet. Always un plug tv
first. Get the replacement part to avoid overheating and possible fire
The
power light keeps flashing and the tv won't turn on. If you unplug for a
minute and hit the power button it sound like it is coming on then it
shuts off and the red power light flashes slowly. The TV is a Panisonic
1080i HDTV, about 6-7 years old.
turn tv on picture comes up 2to3 seconds later tv blacks out then stand by red light flashes 4 times in a row repeatedly..can not turn on or off when stand by light starts flashing but before tv blacks out you can turn tv on and off repeatedly and picture and sound work. You have to unplug power cord for 30 seconds after stand by light comes on to get tv to turn on.
