M7208 How do I programme the button for hands free

A button may be stuck on the dial pad. Check all buttons to ensure they are free and none of them are stuck.

Press Feature * 3
press the 5th line key you want to use for paging
enter the page-all code (feature 601-603 as you wish)

Do a button inquiry to find your prime line(intercom number). Press feature *0 then the button you want to identify. Your prime line will be either the bottom programmable button or the next one up.
The button defintion will appear in the LCD screen for each button inquiry you do.

Feature #65 will remove the light.

Press feature *3, press the button you want to program back to speed dial, and press feature 0.

press feature *4 , enter in speed dial bank number 71-94 (256-279, it changes with different versions), enter number, press ok

Programming is done on 7310, 7324 and 7316 type sets.Enter programming by pressing the feature key followed by **266344.When prompted to enter the password enter 266344.
The screen should say TERMINALS&SETS. The 4 top line/feature keys are now used for programming.
At the terminals&sets prompt, press the show key (top right arrow). The display should now ask for an extension number. Enter extension number you want to change to handsfree.
Press the show key (top right arrow)
The display should say LINE ACCESS
Press the next key (bottom right arrow) .
The display should say CAPABILITIES.
Press the show key (top right arrow) .
The display say foward no answer.
press the next key 3 times (bottom right arrow)..
The display should say handsfree. Press the show key.(top right arrow) change from none to auto
Press the heading key (top left arrow) til the display says TERMINALS & SETS again.
enter in next extension to program.
repeat procedure.
Press the release key when finished

On the right hand side of ur keypad there will be 8 buttons. Third button from top will be ur change button if u r using T7208 or M7208 phones.
