I forgot my puk number please help me.

Hi, I live in South Africa so our numbers are different but the process should be the same. Get another MTN phone (maybe a relatives or friends), and use that to call the customer care helpline which is free from MTN numbers. Follow the voice prompts and enter your cell number using the keypad, press # when you're done and it will give you the PUK. Make sure you have a pen and a page on hand to right down the PUK :-)

If you enter the wrong password three times in a row the SIM card gets blocked. This is indicated by the message PIN Blocked To unblock this you need to enter your PUK code (Personal Unblocking Key). Your PIN and PUK is supplied by your service provider. so contact your service provider
Get your PUK code from your provider.Call mtn customer care num 180 for nigeria, they'll give you your PUK... and , write it down incase you lock up your phone again.
Each device has a unique PUK that u can use when the sim is locked!

just go straight 2 your sim card provider, ok? then if u are using an iphone, you can go to the net and visit thier website, there they will give u a solution.

you have entered the pin code wrong 3 times now you are required to enter a puk code to reset the pin code. 

The puk code is sim card spesific it comes with the sim card when you get it or you can get it by calling your phone service provider of the sim card to get the puk code. 


if you have entered the puk code wrong too many times you will make the sim card useless and you will have to contact your phone service provider for a new sim card, it will probably cost.
