I would like instructions in English for a Twinbird breadmaker.

Switch between the default ??? (Japanese) and ?? (English).

Unless you can contact the factory or a seller I dont think you can get one. I went several pages and all came up in Asia some where. They have contact pages and you might ask. I know this item is sold under another name in the west. If you can get that info it is just a matter of downloading the correct manual. Good luck

You absolutely cannot select any other language on Japanese domestic SONY models. The professional line up of camcorders come with an English selection in the menu, but not the consumer models.
Suggestions by well intentioned but ill-informed people to follow the menu in the English user guide, will not get you anywhere. The Japanese models do not include this item in the menu. Plain and simple.
Visitors to Japan should be careful when purchasing items here as they more often than not only include Japanese manuals. SONY and Panasonic also only include English menus in their cameras. Canon and Nikon do have an English selection, but this should be confirmed at the point of purchase not after returning to your country!! Furthermore, warranties are usually only valid for Japan.

I have compared its instruction manual in English and Japanese versions and found that the language setting part is absent in Japanese version. So that the japanese version will support only japanese.
I have asked the seller in Bic Camera shop (in Japan) and he tried to change the language in the menu, but unfortunately he could't find and change it.

Hi again, I looked for several hours for free just to satisfy my own curiosity. I located the original manual here:
http://www.twinbird.jp/usersmanual/pdf/pyd432_m.pdf I then opened the document in adobe and pasted 500 word segments into MSWord. I then used google translate to translate EACH 500 word segment.... copied that and then pasted that into a new document. It does not translate images :( You will probably have to copy the images from the japanese pdf file and paste them into word. It will not be a perfect end product. However.... if you can figure out the control panel you can use recipes for any 1.5 lb loaf bread maker for making bread.

I gave it my best shot and was not able to come up with an English manual. Just being honest. I have about 4 hours invested on this solution without real success. Sorry.

your best bet is requesting a english one from the manufacturer or else get a japanese interpreter

my best suggestion for you would be to look up the user manual on pioneer's website, look for the model number on the front of the deck its usually deh-p4900ib or something like that, hopefully thats written in english for you or if its not so to pioneers website and look up the single din dvd/gps sytems and go through the pages till you find one that looks like yours, good luck.

I varied the sequence with the command buttons until the option came up english or japanese where I punched in English.
