I need to get my 9700 generation treadmill through a doorway that is 32" wide. Can I take it apart so that it can pass through? What do you suggest to solve this matter.
You need to remove the upper console arms/assembly - unbolt the five or six large bolts holding the frame to the base (you will need to remove the motor hood) and unplug the cable from the circuit board that goes up inside the arm to the console (make sure the power is unplugged!) use a 3/4'' ring spanner or socket.
