SOURCE: fault reporting
You would need to call your service provider from a different phone.

SOURCE: Where in hell can i speak to telkom agent to follow up with the land line fault?
Hello, Michael -
I am answering from the USA.
Telkom seems to be a South Africa based communications company. I will assume you reside in South Africa.
This is the link to the Telkom home page:
http://www.telkom.co.za/today/
Scroll down that page to see the icon and link for Landlines. Click or tap on that link.
Scroll down the Landlines page to find the Connect column with the Talk To Us link right be low "Connect". Click or tap on "Talk To Us".
Scroll down the "Talk To Us" page to the bottom. Find the telephone receiver icon with the words "Give us a call" below it. Click or tap on that link. Scroll to the bottom of the page where you will see "Select the department you want to talk to below" and click or tap on the downward pointing arrow in the box with the word "Mobile". That will provide you with a drop down menu, where you can choose "Home" for the Telkom "For Service" number you should call (during weekday business hours.)
I realize those are many hoops to "jump through".
Best wishes.
