On my jensen vm9311ts its shows my dvd playing but no sound. aame thing with my ipod. its says its playing, but no sound. what wrong?

I'm guessing you're not using you're head unit to power your speakers/subs you're probably using a separate amp so your problem is not likely to have anything to do with your jensen headunit. first just make sure amp is turning on, if it's not check all your power wires(pwr, grd, remote) if it is turning on check your rca cables. it's a dvd player so theres more rca's in the back of the unit, it can be confusing so it'd be easy to mix somthin up... if everything checks out ok and you still can't get any sound take it to wherever you had it installed and have them look at it till they figure out what's wrong
