I got the same TV for my stepdaughter and had the same problem. None of the Emerson codes worked. We use Dish Network but I did the autoscan thing on the remote and found that it was 672 which is listed as a Sylvania. I don't know if it will help in your case but maybe try the Sylvania codes. I just call emerson about this problem and they told me that they dont make the tv codes they just provide the frecuency. The cable or Sat. company need to make a code for that frecuency. hope this help as it help me

Use 1465. However, you will still have to use your other remote to turn your TV on. :-(

You might need to get the RC65 direcTV remote control, you can find them on e-bay relatively cheap, other that that i got mine to work with the code 11864!!
