Question about The Kitchen Appliances - Others

Hi, my client has received a brand new Slush Machine from myself, two bowls are working fine, the third bowl is spinning fine blade works all good but the mix is not freezing, I have told him to use more syrup and still no fix, this is a brand new machine so possibly cannot be worn parts, I have asked him to add more water instead of syrup to see if this makes a difference. Can someone help me out please?

Tell your client that sometimes the weather determine the condition during the hot weather they function less than during cold weather but if this is not the case it might be because it is still new he should continue to be using it it will get better surely I promise

Possible your outlet filter is blocked, it need periodic cleaning, which the user can do himself. Locate where this is from your user's manual. Clean out, re-fix. Next it could be the hose that goes from the bottom of the tub to the filter pump; check the former first. Well, you have a record of sorts, 30 years!!

Read your user manual - but I would suggest that you may not have setup the balance properly. Check the level of the machine and adjust to be as square as possible by adjusting the feet at the bottom. If the water isnt coming in on both hot and cold sounds like a common problem - perhaps the water level sensor is playing up or something else has been knocked during transportation of the machine when you moved house. Check your user manual for troubleshooting. Sounds dumb, but check that 'delay start' isnt selected also. check both hoses filters are not blocked.

Sounds like the belt came off when you tried to mix the frosting while it was cold. Just too much of a load. It will have to be taken apart and the belt put back on.

SOURCE: BRand new elongated Cimarron shoots water out of bowl durng flush

Is the fill line in the tank loose? Does it just shoot water into the tank itself? I had this issue until I realized the while fill tube is supposed to be pushed into the black cylinder/small plastic tube in the middle of the stopper assembly. After i pushed the line into the tube, the bowl would always only fill a little bit. Now it fills almost a 3rd of the way up the bowl and doesn't bubble during flushes.

Faby 3 slush machine over freezing
Assuming the mix is mixed correctly and the auger is turning, make sure the micro switch to the right of the motor in the back is in place correctly and works ok. That switch tells the freezing to stop.

check the left side condenser coils, make sure they're clean. there might be low air flow, and that'll cause the compressor to overheat and shut off. leave at least 6 inches of space on both sides of the machine for it to breathe. also if the ambient temp is too hot, same thing.

Ice forming on outside of bowls. Is there something that can be coated on outside of bowl to prevent
Put the machine on a defrost cycle and make sure the mix is correct. to rich (not enough water) and the temp will drop until it gets to the right thickness, thus freezing the condensation on the bowls.

How to replace front shaft seal
push the little black button at the front bottom right on the bowl and lift the bowl front and pull it towards you to remove. pull the auger off and the shaft seal is the opaque cup-shaped seal between the auger and the barrel on the shaft. lube new seal with food safe lubricant (i.e. superlube), lube the large rear bowl seal as well and reassemble.

One side of my bunn ultra 2 slushie machine is leaking how do you change a bad seal to stop this problem?
remove the bowls by pushing in black button on the bottom front left of the bowl, pull the bowl up a little, then pull it forward and off. pull the auger off and the seal is opaque, cup shaped, and on the shaft. replace that, lube the edge with food safe lubricant (i.e. superlube), lube the large round bowl seal in the back and put it all back together. you may need a preventive maintenance kit installed as well, but that's a bit more involved

Hi just read your posting.Now the problem you might have, and I have had before, is the motor is not turning the bowl far enough when it is starting to spin and therefore the machine thinks the bowl is not turning.To get your machine spinning 1st undo the 2 screws under the lid so you can lift the hob up to see the bowl.Select a spin cycle and hit start while you are holding the hob up enough to see the bowl.The reason for lifting the hob instead of the lid to see the bowl is if you lifted the lid the machine would not work because of the lid switch.Now when you are holding the hob up to see the bowl make sure the lid is closed so the machine will work.Now once you have started the spin cycle you will see the bowl turning one way then reverse and turn the other way.While you are holding the hob up when the bowl turns in 1 direction help turn the bowl in that same direction with your hand.Once the bowl reverses help turning it in that direction also.This will make the machine register that the bowl is loose enough and will kick to spin.Once it is spinning let it spin for the cycle and you should be fine.Please reply for further help if needed,Good luck

Motor works but will not turn on
You can test the motor by plugging the food processor in, pressing the on switch and using a pen to press the dark grey or black button on top of the base of the food processor. As long as it spins, the motor is definitely good. Next, unplug the food processor. For the food processor to work, you need to have the work bowl, lid, and pusher sleeve all inserted - if one part of the work bowl is not attached, then the food processor will not spin the blade. Once all three pieces have been inserted, plug it in and turn it on. If the blade is still not spinning, then there is a problem with the element that runs from the back of the pusher sleeve down through the work bowl that triggers the motor button. In that event, you can go to Cuisinart's website and order a new bowl, lid, and/or pusher sleeve - if you see any obvious damage to one part, you can order just that one part. If it is not apparent which part is damaged, order the whole work bowl. The work bowl parts are expensive, so I would just write down the part numbers from Cuisinart's website and find them cheaper elsewhere. There is also a video on the website that shows you how to use the food processors - the first part of the video describes work bowl asssembly. Once you get this food processor working, it is going to last forever. Have fun!

If you try the instructions below, and the motor test fails, you can send it in to Cuisinart for a trade-in, but the trade-in will be just as expensive as getting a new food processor (unless your product has an extra-long motor warranty):
