There is no such ground points in the Stanton STR8-100. The main thing you have to check is the RCA cable used. You should a high quality RCA cable suitable for Phono connections. If you use a normal RCA cable then it will produce HUM because if its weak ground shield.

Try with a good quality RCA cable with Good ground shielding.

You could try looking for the cables for this monitor in Walmart, electronics section. Or you could also try RadioShack if you have one near. Also these cables are available in different computer stores near you. Just ask for the cable you need either the power cable or the video cable.

THis is a common cable usually found at Walmart or Staples. Just take your camera in with you and one of the techs in the electronics dept. will match it up for you. OR you could go to vivitar.com/customer support and order one

Any 1/8" cable will do. You can get them from anywhere from RadioShack to WalMart. I believe this cable has some sort of damage or is defective. Return it asap because hissing should not happen. I worked at RadioShack over a year, this should do the trick.

Please make sure no cable is attached to the camera. On many Nikon cameras, connecting a cable shuts down the screen.

Ya that’s not a problem at all you can pick up a usb kit at your local Walmart or RadioShack.....Shop around for the best price.....here are a few links to get you started.....and if this helps please let me know
